    • That’s so true. It must really run in the family. I have a little sister *she’s like a year younger than me or 2* and she would tell me, with so much fire in her voice, that she loves to fight ^^ We all fuss and argue with each other and its not long until someones wrestling or hitting each other but it’s all fun and games.That’s how we show are love through fussing and nagging. I don’t think we’ve hit each other out of pure anger wanting to cause damage to the other though. That is usually geared towards someone else ^^;

  2. Oooh~

    When I first read Love Love Fighting, I thought Oriana was full black and of course, Krisa was the mixed cousin(half black and half Asian) as maybe Oriana’s mother or father’s sibling married an Asian. But your comment actually makes more sense LOL

    I knew they were cousins, I didnt know both were mixed LOL Learn something new everyday 😀

    And i really, really, reaaaalllly love this page LOL Go Krisa!

    • And I’m a mixed girl myself >u<

      I'm 1/8 white, somewhere in there, native American and mostly black. My father's father is half black and half white so he's light, bright and two shades almost white. And, looking at my mom, she has a strong presence of Native American in her but she has no idea and neither do I xP

      And my brother is VERY VERY VERY light as we share the same mother but different fathers and he's half Puerto Rican and half Black. He told my mom and I once when he went to Puerto Rico for a weekend, everyone just began talking Spanish to him and he's like "…I dont know what you're saying"(this is prior to him learning Spanish)

      And I know my oldest cousin has to be mistaken for something atleast once in his life because he has long natural hair that he keeps braided. I can see the girls now LOL

      • I didn’t realize that so many of the people the read my comic where mixed just like Oriana and Krisa! Knowledge is differently power and it makes me feel happy also that there are others that relate to me and my characters of my comic <3 I should do a poll soon to see what type of audience is drawn to my work ^^; So far you are all so kind and I feel really touched that so many take the time out to leave me a comment and letting me learn a little about themselves <3 *I feel special~*

    • And I have to admit: Because of this comic, I’m currently writing my own about a Black/Asian girl about her conflicts of self-identity and the social prejudices of what she is. When I grew up, I never felt like I fit anywhere. Like how Oriana is larger and darker than her light and smaller cousin and in S. Korea and home, she doesnt feel like she belongs. If I ever meet you, I want to hug you and tell you thanks for inspiring me 🙂

      • Junko!! <3 You're so freakin' sweet!! Thank you for letting me know that! I would love to read your comic if you have it online :3 When I was younger I had to deal with issues that Oriana will have to deal with. I grew up in Iowa from until I was nine or so and I had to deal with the kids in my class asking me if the black lady that walked in the room was my mom. I believe I remember saying no and that my mom was light skinned but living in Iowa for me there was and still is a lot of stereotyping and my husband had to deal with different issues like stereotyping when he was growing up. Even now when I walk into a certain store I feel so out of place so a lot of the insecurities that Oriana feels is what I've felt and might still be going through but I'm happy to see that my story is encouraging others because that is really what I want to do. Thank you again so much for leaving me this comment Junko! I really appreciate it and love reading from my dear readers! <3

  3. You can tell Krisa and Oriana is related. Both of them can give people a mean beat down. And the manager, a punch in the face should be a wake up call for him. He needs to watch his attitude towards people.

    • Very true hahaha! Let’s hope Oriana won’t have to step in next time to deal with him. ^^;
