The Top Programs Used by Webtoon Artists

As a webtoon artist, finding the right program to create your comics can be a daunting task. There are many options available, but which one is the best for you? That can depend on what device you may be using or what budget you currently have as well as what program you have the most experience with but here are a general list of a few software that other webtoon comic artist use to make their webtoon.

One popular program among webtoon artists is Procreate. This program is designed for the iPad and offers a wide range of tools and features that are perfect for digital comic creation.

Another option is Medibang Paint, which is a free and easy-to-use program that is popular among artists of all levels. JUMP Paint and Ibispaint are also great options for webtoon artists, as they offer a wide range of features and tools for creating comics. And finally, Krita is a great option for artists who are looking for a free, open-source program with a wide range of features.

But the most popular program among published webtoon artists is Clip Studio Paint. This program is specifically designed for comic creators and offers snap to ruler perspective, panel boarders, and pre-made background materials. It’s no wonder why so many webtoon artists choose to use this program.

Here are a list of both Korean and US published webtoon comic artists that use Clip Studio Paint as their program of choice: Girls of the Wild, Eleceed Artist: Zhena Eleceed, Byeonduck, and Eggnoid by Archie the Redcat.
