Hey guys, today I’m going to show you how to create a webtoon account in just four easy steps. This way you can start uploading your own comics and reading webtoons on the go.
- Step 1: Go to webtoon’s website at www.webtoon.com on your internet browser. Don’t use the app for this, you’ll need to be on a browser.
-Again a lot of people get stuck at this point because either they don’t realize they are trying to use the Webtoon downloadable app and not their internet browser OR they are using their internet browser and they aren’t able to locate the request desktop tab in their browser setting OR they did locate the request desktop tab but didn’t hit refresh on their internet browser after clicking it so it still is showing the mobile version. These are just a few trouble shooting tips that I do, hit refresh after clicking the request desktop version on the internet browser as an extra step if you don’t see the browser button in the internet browser version of webtoon canva website.
- Step 2: Once you’re on the website, click the log in button and enter your email address.
- Step 3: Next, you’ll need to enter your password. Make sure to re-type it just to double check that you’ve typed it correctly.
- Step 4: If it prompts you to, fill in your nickname and click the sign up now button. That’s all there is to it!
Just a heads up, if you’re trying to publish a webtoon on your phone or iPad, there’s a feature in the Safari browser where you can request the desktop version. This makes it way easier to click the black publish button and fill out the necessary fields to create your series.
If you’re using a different internet browser like google chrome or firefox you may not see any aA feature but those browser setting do have a way for you to request the desktop version of the website you are browsing with that browser and it’s usually located when you click the lines or when you access the settings of the browser.
And don’t worry about the cost, signing up for a webtoon account and posting your comics is completely free. Plus, their app is also free, so you can read webtoons on the go without spending a dime. They do offer a fast pass option for exclusive creators, but all webtoons are eventually released for free to the public after a certain period of time.
