Do you get paid for making Webtoons?

Do you get paid for making Webtoons?

You can get paid through Creators Support or Rewards Programs on LINE Webtoon or Tapas Platform.

BUT how you’re paid isn’t necessarily based on how many pages you draw but how many page views you get to your webtoon comic.

So I’ve covered in another blog located here how you can make money on LINE vs Tapas but basically it can boil down to impressers and ad revenue.

So if your webtoon can bring in 40,000 monthly impressions/pageviews then you can make $100.

How Do webtoon Comic Artist make money

With digital webcomics/webtoon making money is a little different from traditional comic payment where you get paid on how many pages you ink or color in.

So for online media content companies will pay Webtoon platforms for ad space on their website to potential get a sale.

That money that ad company’s pay webtoon platforms is then shared with creators and that’s called Ad Revenue.

So the more eyes that ad will receive the more sales that advertisers can potentially earn and thus in return they pay from more ad space.

All you have to do is help bring in that traffic by posting on their platform (or your own) and marketing it on social media.
