The pen, eraser, lasso selection and layer tools will be your best friend and all that I usually use to create my webtoon or manga pages with these apps~
Now they are compatible with touchscreens so you can use your hand to draw but I get a lot of hand and joint pains so I try to avoid adding extra strain to my hand and use anything from generic to branded stylus pen~
You can’t currently post a webtoon through LINE Webtoon or Tapas mobile app.
The only way to post onto LINE and Tapas is by requesting the desktop version of their site from your mobile internet browser.
Ibispaint is also great app to use to make a webtoon comic on Android because it has a lot of comic centric tools.
Also ibis paint has a lot of similar features found in Clip Studio Paint like panel divide tool which can be used for creating webtoon panels.
With ibis paint it has the capability to use the screen touch sensor on your android so you can use your finger or any stylus to draw directly on your phone screen like a mini display tablet.
Also another thing to keep in mind is the size that your webtoon format needs to be to upload onto webtoon is 800 pixels wide and 1280 pixels tall.
But just as a side note I recommend drawing your webtoon in a canva size that’s double that so your images won’t look so blurry and pixelated.
The way to make Vertical scrolling Webtoons is actually just multiple individual images split in half and then connected together by webtoons site platform so it ends up looking like one long vertical strip.
What should you do next?
